Lenten Reading for Tuesday, Fourth Week in Lent
Herod questioned Jesus at length, but he gave him no answer. The chief priests and scribes, meanwhile, stood by accusing him harshly.
The Mystic Christian Reader is a blog devoted to Bible study from a scholarly, contextual, and inherently mystic perspective. We will be illuminating the Christian manifestation of that which is called the Perennial Philosophy in the West and Sanatan Dharma in the East. Both of these phrases could be roughly translated into "The Original/Eternal Religion". This is the current of Truth (with a VERY capitalized T) which goes beyond dogma, guilt, and judgement.

I'm a follower of St. Francis of Assisi and a lover of Truth with a CAPITAL "T". I adore good violin music and have a growing distaste for "generic" classical music (the stuff where they make a big deal about the composer--long dead--and never mention the artists playing it).
